Husband and wife team, Christy and Robert Bennett-Hanes, bought “Rock Creek Café & Pub” in 2007 from beloved local character George Athanasakis. It was renovated inside and out and updated to feature a a creative new menu rooted in quality, seasonality, and locality.

History
Rock Creek Corner has a colorful history dating back to the late 1930’s. The cross roads at 185th and West Union have been a hub of activity for generations. Originally a general store and barber shop, folks would pick up provisions, grab a pickle from the pickle barrel, and warm their hands by the wood stove while catching up on community happenings. You could follow up with a hair cut and shave, then stock up on some explosives from the dynamite shack out back. No joke!
